Upgrading of the A1 to motorway standard between Leeming and Barton (A1L2B) began in March 2014 and consists of 20km of mostly online construction, with major technical and civil engineering challenges.
This is an event that is not to be missed!
The conference will provide an insight into a number of aspects of the A1 Scheme over the lifespan of the project, focusing on sustainability, collaboration, health and safety, innovation and heritage.
Specialists working on this high profile scheme will present their leading approach to major project delivery, taking you through the project and the challenges faced. This is a great opportunity to get into the heart of a major construction project here in the North East.
