Set within the countryside of North East England, the Land of Oak & Iron stretches from the fringes of the North Pennines following the course of the River Derwent to the River Tyne.
The Landscape Partnership aims is to work with local communities and partners to conserve, enhance and celebrate the natural, industrial and cultural heritage of this unique area.
