This CPD presentation by Kevin Scott BSc (Hons) MICWCI from Your Homes Newcastle, will introduce The Byker Wall Project, a highly acclaimed, sympathetic refurbishment of grade 2 listed social housing designed by architect Ralph Erskine and constructed in the 1970s including careful reinstatement of original features and incorporating some new energy efficient technologies.

The presentation by the Project Manager, will look at the challenges of maintaining this landmark building which differed greatly with the brutalist architecture prevalent at the time of it’s construction.
