The Northumberland and Newcastle Society – a 90-year old charity15/11/16

Founded in 1924, the Northumberland & Newcastle Society works to protect valuable buildings and landscapes and to enhance the quality of life in both urban and rural areas.

A number of speakers will from the society will be joining us, covering its work across the County, the City and North Tyneside. Topics to be covered will include the detailed work which the society has carried out wind turbines and their impacts on the landscape of Northumberland. Following the presentations, there will be an opportunity for Q&A and discussion.
